There are 2 parking areas and some practice bosses as well as 24 bosses permanently in place however they may be laid out to suit NFAS or GNAS shoots. For insurance and safety reasons ONLY members from one of the above Societies will be allowed to shoot at the same time. So when organised events, internal to the club or open events are arranged, then the Society that is using the course on that day will be specified and ONLY members from that organisation will be permitted to use the course.  For casual visits there may be just sprayed on faces, unless specifically requested. Please note that for informal visits there will be no toilets available, we hire chemical toilets for competition days.

The course varies greatly with the seasons, during June, July and August it is recommended that you use insect repelant to discourage the horse flies etc! In wet periods it is also essential to wear waterproof footware. We also put sheep in the area during some weeks of the year

The ground is quite steep in a few areas.

Depending on the season there is a stream to cross and ponds to shoot across.
