FROM M4:
Leave at Junction 15 (Swindon) and take the A419 to Cirencester (A417 Gloucester).
After c. 20 miles you will pass the Highwayman Public House on your left. Take
the next left (which is straight after the pub) signposted to Winestone and Elkstone.
Follow the road for ELKSTONE.
After c. 1 mile you will see a telephone box on your left and a sign for Elkstone Village on your right. Do not turn off - carry on for c. 1/2 mile until your reach a crossroads (just
BEFORE a steep hill) and take the right hand turning signposted Colesbourne. The field course car parks are situated about
½ mile down on the left hand side.
FROM M5:
Leave at Junction 11A (Cirencester & Oxford) and take the A417 towards
Cirencester. After around 4 miles you will reach a roundabout with the Air Balloon
Pub on your right. Turn
Right along the A417 and continue up the hill, stay on that road for a number of miles until you reach a roundabout,
again turn right (do not join the dual carriageway). After a few hundred metres you reach a T-junction, turn left and immediately
after you pass under the bridge turn right. Stay on that road/track until you come to a crossroads, go straight over following
the Colesbourne. The field course car parks are situated about ½ mile down on the left hand side.
From Cheltenham;
Take the A435 towards Cirencester, at the top of the hill go straight
over the double roundabout (Road crosses the A40 to Oxford) and continue towards Cirencester. Take the third turn right after c. 1.5 mile, signposted Elkstone/Green
Dragon. Stay on this road and continue up the Hill, at the top you will come to a cross-roads. Turn left towards Colesbourne
and the Course is located about 1/2 mile down the road on the left hand side.
