Club Challenge League
Will start first
day of March and will run until the end of the month. Same rules as last winter, result cards MUST be placed in
the Black Bag so that they can be recorded!
Club Challenge League
During nominated months members may challenge each other to a 12 arrow match, shot in 4 ends of 3 arrows. There
will be 3 categories, recurve, compound and longbow.
Points will be awarded on the following basis; Senior v Senior (and junior v junior)= 3 points for a win, 2 points for
a draw and 1 point for a lose. Senior v Junior = Seniors as before but juniors will get 4 points for a win, 3 points for a
draw and 2 points for a lose. Matches can be shot at Birdlip, Balcarras, Bubbs Hill, High Cross or as part of a formal
competition where a selected dozen has been selected prior to the shoot.
The following allowances will be made for the bow types;
Compound versus
Longbow (Longbow score plus 25 points).
Recurve versus Longbow (Longbow plus 15
points).
Compound versus Recurve (Recurve plus 7 points).
Monthly League - March 2010 (8th March
last updated).
December/January Monthly League 25 members - 22 matches
November Trial As we have so many new members it has been decided to integrate all the bow
types for the November League (to get everyone to mix!). The following allowances will be made for the bow types; Compound
versus Longbow (Longbow score plus 25 points). Recurve versus Longbow (Longbow plus 15 points). Compound
versus Recurve (Recurve plus 7 points).
Whilst we encourage all members to shoot in this competition, the following members will not be eligible for the
monthly trophies: Coaches, Archery Leaders and archers with MB or GMB clasification. No archer is allowed
to win the trophy more than once every 3 months.
Club Monthly League
The next month selected for our Club H2H Challenge is November at Balcarras
and Birdlip.
