H2H Monthly League - Starts 1st October
The
monthly league will start again on Saturday 1st October, 3 Leagues, compound, recurve and BB/LB. Best of 5 ends gets bonus
point plus a point for each end won plus 2 points for competing! Each League will be scored only for like bow competitions
(ie Recurve v Recurve etc). No more than 2 matches against the same person each month. This month no cross bow type competitions
and no allowances for juniors versus seniors!
Outdoor 'Deer Park' Mini-Nationals @ Practice Sessions
We will run a competition each month on an evening TBA, starting in May. The round will be 2 dozen at each
of the 'normal National' distances but will use a 10 zone scoring system, you need to get someone else to score for
you and sign your score sheet. 4 Categoroies, Recurve, Barebow, Longbow and Compound.
Monthly League This Sunday at Balcarras we organized a round-robin FITA style head
to head. It worked really well and there were some great matches. Dan and John won their way through to the final and from
1-5 down John Craigie clawed it back to 6-6. Dan eventually won in a single arrow shoot out. Lucy and Callum tied for 3rd
place, with Alex and Roger finishing equal 5th. Well done to all that competed it was great fun.
February League Format
This month we are going to run a one day event on the 27th February at Balcarras!
Depending on entries/attendance
there will be round robin matches for each bow discipline using the new Fita H2H format. More details to follow. Members who
do not wish to compete can shoot on that day but priority will be given to those competing.

Indoor Series
The first monthly league will complete
at the end of October, results to be published here. More than 35 members have taken part. As well as monthly awards ther
will be an overall winner for the 3 main bow types.
2010 Summer Series
To encourage competition a series of club events will be organised during the summer, to be eligible for an award members
must have competed in a minimum of 6 events, including at least 1 clout, field and target round. Points will be scored on
the basis of 1 for first 2 for second etc. The winning archers will be those that have the lowest totals made up from their
best 6 rounds.
Dates/details for a club Field, Clout and Target competition will appear here shortly.
Club Challenge League
Will start first
day of March and will run until the end of the month. Same rules as last winter, result cards MUST be placed in
the Black Bag so that they can be recorded!
Club Challenge League During nominated months members may challenge
each other to a 12 arrow match, shot in 4 ends of 3 arrows. There will be 3 categories, recurve, compound and longbow.
Points will be awarded on the following basis;
Senior v Senior (and junior v junior)=
3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a lose.
Senior v Junior = Seniors as before but juniors
will get 4 points for a win, 3 points for a draw and 2 points for a lose.
Matches can be shot at Birdlip, Balcarras,
Bubbs Hill, Kingshill or as part of a formal competition where a selected dozen has been selected prior to the shoot.
The following allowances will be made for the bow types;
Compound versus
Longbow (Longbow score plus 25 points).
Recurve versus Longbow (Longbow plus 15
points).
Compound versus Recurve (Recurve plus 7 points).
Monthly League - March 2010 (21st
March last updated).
December/January Monthly League 25 members - 22 matches
November Trial As we have so many new members it has been decided to integrate all the bow
types for the November League (to get everyone to mix!). The following allowances will be made for the bow types; Compound
versus Longbow (Longbow score plus 25 points). Recurve versus Longbow (Longbow plus 15 points). Compound
versus Recurve (Recurve plus 7 points).
Whilst we encourage all members to shoot in this competition, the following members will not be eligible for the
monthly trophies: Coaches, Archery Leaders and archers with MB or GMB clasification. No archer is allowed
to win the trophy more than once every 3 months.
Club Monthly League
The next month selected for our Club H2H Challenge is November at Balcarras
and Birdlip.
